We provide parking for all of your scheduled class days via the ParkMobile app, but you must use the unique parking code that will be sent to your UCSD email. Save that email for reference! You need this code to park on campus during class.Â
When setting up your ParkMobile account, you MUST make sure your license plate number is accurate. Any error will result in a citation, so triple check this!
2. Sign in with your Single Sign On and register your account under your UCSD email address
3. Enter 47901 for the Zone Number
4. The parking duration defaults to the maximum time
5. Click "Proceed to Checkout"
6. Under "Price", click "Add Promo Code". This is where you will input your unique parking code.
7. Input your unique parking code.
8. Click "Purchase" (Your payment method will be whatever you select, but the price will be $0.00)
This is where we recommend you park on class days. Parking is highly impacted on campus and generally fills up by 8:00 am. Graduate students should park in Green B spaces.
The Gilman Parking Structure is the other closest structure to Jacobs Hall, but has less spots available for grad students than Hopkins. Graduate students should park in Green B spaces on the top floor.
This structure is further away but tends to have more abundant grad student parking than the top two structures. Graduate students should park in Green B spaces.
Sometimes, it happens to the best of us. Follow this link for information on parking citation appeals. Suggestion: when appealing a citation, be especially apologetic and humble!
