Tensiometer

The Kibron-AquaPi tensiometer is used for measuring the surface tension of a liquid or the interfacial tension of two immiscible liquids by scaling the meniscus with a balance. It is equipped with a sample polypropene cup (PTFE), a DyneBrobes rod, and a handheld controller with a digital readout. The sample polypropylene cup is used for storing samples to be measured, while the DyneBrobes rod is particularly useful for measuring viscous samples. The handheld controller with digital readout has a window screen displaying the measured data and buttons for calibrating and initiating measurements. The tensiometer is portable, easy to operate, and capable of measuring a sample in less than 30 seconds.
