My work explores the convergence of life dimensions in space: all those that create a sensorial present. With this idea, I observe the effects of movement in time, focusing in the human/non-human history, and science, emphasizing on their relation to geology and planetology. I am particularly interested in deconstructing the daily life exchanges that I experience as a physical being, for this reason, I use my process to break sociocultural boundaries and limits of spaces and time. Meanwhile, I observe and capture the light effect on diverse elements through optical devices, as projectors, cameras and microscopy. I use my body to conduct sensorial interactions with materials of different types and scales, merging heterogenous elements as fiber with wire, breastmilk with sound, memories with fabric, death with life, and two peninsulas.

My research explores sites from regions to craters, from urban spaces to archives, from communities to my inner body, to name a few. I am interested in acquiring knowledge from other’s histories and cultural practices, especially those that are connected to ancient cosmologies. Sometimes I collaborate with friends, family, indigenous people and different communities, but also with non-human organisms and the non-living realm. With these collaborations we translate worlds to words, create videos, write stories, adapt photomicrographic images into embroideries, record sound, interact with landscapes, collect objects and exchange knowledge through conversations.

My work is mainly directed by my intuition and the perception of reality, which I often convert into imaginary facts that propose other possibilities of the actual existence. I interweave this natural-like fantasies with memories to tell stories: reality-based fictions.
