Abstract
Breast cancer is a major problem, being 30% of all new female cancers per year. While treatment options are constantly improving, experiencing such a disease takes a large toll on peoples’ money and emotions. This project explores an innovative method to defend the open milk-duct system through a watertight adhesive and a waterproof barrier material, having new customizations with negative pressure sealing and liquid detection. This design has yet to have gone through an all-encompassing testing process, but this will take an extensive amount of time after this completed prototyping phase.
