Abstract
When researchers culture organoids, they need to know what flow conditions (velocity, shear stress, etc.) are affected and how this can change the environment of organoids. The objective of this project is to run fluid dynamics simulations to verify the optimal environment suitable for organoid culture and monitor the organoid movements in the vessel. Our research used microbeads tracing experiments to observe fluid movements at different fluid depths and number of beads. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations provided a detailed analysis of fluid dynamics, including velocity distribution and shear stress levels across different fluid heights. Our future directions include live monitoring organoid growth under various shaking conditions and investigating how shear stress levels can affect organoid development.
