Leading up to the Santa Cruz County STEM Fair, Seed Spoon Science students supported the after-school STEM Fair course at Bay View Elementary. SSS students supported the use of the scientific method when the elementary students were developing their inventions and experiments. SSS students mentored the elementary students through their ideas and provided technical assistance and support.
Asher Valdes, an elementary student in the Seed Spoon Science program and taking the after-school STEM course, won third place in the Santa Cruz County STEM Fair with his invention of the Bully Bracelet.
