In September 2022, my research team with the Trauma Group presented a poster on the association between histories of child maltreatment and alexithymia in adulthood in Israel, at the Second International Conference on Trauma and Mental Health. This presentation was based on our co-authored meta-analysis on the topic.
In February 2022, my team from the Emotion, Cognition, & Psychopathology lab and I attended SPSP in San Francisco and shared a poster presentation on the correlation between trait mindfulness and selective attention to positive stimuli. During the conference, we also got the opportunity to observe lectures delivered by academics who shared their cutting-edge work in the fields of personality and social psychology.
In April 2021, my research team from the Trauma Group and I attended WPA virtually (due to COVID-19) and presented an empirical study we conducted on self-recognition processes in adults with histories of childhood maltreatment. This OSF site includes a detailed outline of our project's background, method, results, and implications.
In March 2021, I attended SRCD virtually (due to COVID) and presented a study on engineering students' perceptions, evaluations, and motivations for academic misconduct (conducted with my AOP lab). This OSF site includes a PDF of the poster, citations, other relevant documents (i.e., coding schemes, interview protocol), and a video of the virtual presentation.
In October 2020, I attended my first conference, WPA, and presented on multilingual adolescents' ability to task switch compared to monolingual adolescents. Due to COVID-19, this conference was held virtually. This OSF site includes a PDF of the poster, a PDF of the citations, and a video of the virtual presentation.
