Hello! My name is Rhea. I received a premedical post-baccalaureate education at Loyola Marymount University with a B.S. in cognitive science and a B.A. psychology from UC Santa Cruz. Currently, I work as a family medicine medical assistant, am sexual assault counselor with PAAR, and am a researcher with the Trauma Group at Stanford Psychophysiology Lab (PI: Dr. Anat Talmon), where I study the long-term implications of child maltreatment.
Through my academic, research, and volunteer experiences during my graduate and undergraduate years, I have developed interests in studying the long-term implications of trauma and healthcare accessibility amongst underserved communities.
