Introduction Field Methods

Abstract: This will be followed by a 15-minute-long presentation of the three field methods classes by the language experts Jeremías Salazar, Martín Gabriel Ruiz, and Fe Silva Robles (Santiago Laxopa Zapotec), alongside the faculty members that were responsible for these classes: Eric W. Campbell (UCSB) and Maziar Toosarvanandi (UCSC). The presenters will explore the ways in which collaboration was established and will reflect on the way in which the class responded to community needs.
