FUNDING REQUEST

If you would like to request funding from the College Nine Student Senate, please take the following steps:

- Fall '25 Funding Request Submission CLOSED on November 17th, 2025
Funding requests are reviewed in the order in which they are received.
Keep an eye out for an email from us, as we will do our best to respond promptly.

To schedule a presentation, please email us at c9senate@ucsc.edu CC, Chair of C9 Senate Nash Pari-Candia (aparican@ucsc.edu) and our VP of Finance, Helen Tong Yeung (hhyeung@ucsc.edu), in addition to completing this form! If you present in person, your responses can be less detailed, as long as the key points are covered during the presentation.
- Our weekly meetings are Thursdays, from 6pm-7:30pm, at the Social Sciences 1 Room 261.

Guidelines for Successful Requests

If organizations outside of College Nine exceed the $200 funding limit, they must provide a detailed justification for the additional amount requested to proceed. Otherwise, they will be asked to revise their request or reapply.
All events must allow for at least 1 College Nine affiliate(s) to participate or be present, otherwise they are typically not considered.
Travel costs are typically not considered, unless at least 25% of attendees are College Nine affiliates.
