Make a group chat immediately, the team you’re in can become lifelong friends and you all experience hardships and success together
Don’t be afraid to state your opinions and be open to feedback and criticism; nothing goes the way you want all the time, but that’s part of the process
Make time to bond with your teammates (time flies by past, treasure the memories) and don’t make it all about work; learn to have fun working together!

Understand that everyone has to start somewhere, and failure is a part of the learning process. We grow through experiences, and learning through a project is an experience that will make you a better person, professional, and student.
Ask for help! Everett has so many resources for projects, it's just about learning how to find and utilize them. Help is always there if you need it.
Always communicate. Whether you’re giving positive feedback, voicing your thoughts on a project, or letting your teammates know what your needs or weak points are, more communication is always better than less. Communication makes your team and your project stronger, so don’t hold back.
Morgan Bishop
Practice self-care before you help others out. It will allow you to make better decisions.
Breathe and take it day by day, because tomorrow isn't granted. With that, give it your all everyday and when you can't remind yourself that your presence is most meaningful.

You really can learn and do anything, the resources are out there (swearsies). Buy textbooks, take masterclasses, online classes, actual classes, watch youtube videos, read websites, tutorials, forums, social media, pirate things (not an endorsement just a fact); the list can go on forever. U got this
Literally no known organism/thing alive, dead, extinct, or imaginary is perfect. It takes time to find the balance between being productive and giving time for yourself. It takes time to figure things out in general. Listening to yourself and your passions will be better than any advice you will ever receive.
In a race, the furthest you will ever be from the finish is where you started from. Any distance gained at all is worthwhile. You don’t need the sound of a starter pistol to get moving, you are your own.
Sean McHugh
If you feel like you are losing passion or interest in something whether it be classes, your project, an internship, remind yourself WHY you started doing that in the first place. It can be easy to get up in the stress of it, but remind yourself why you care to regain your motivation.
Communicate your personal struggles with your team or the teachers. You will feel so much better when you are greeter with understanding, it will help you be less hard on yourself and more productive in the long run.
Let yourself fail! Be uncomfortable! This is the time to try scary new things. Do not let your own self doubt stop you from growing into everything you are capable of. Take advantage of this extremely accepting environment and get outside of your comfort zone in any and every way possible.
