This longitudinal mixed-methods study explores how adolescents develop the knowledge, analytic skills, and emotional faculties to understand, counter, and dismantle racism (i.e., develop their critical race consciousness).

In partnership with Hispanas Organized for Political Equality we developed a youth participatory action research curriculum for Latina adolescents. The goal of the program is to promote Latina girls' healthy identity development while strengthening their socioemotional and sociopolitical skills.
