Air Travel:
Ontario Airport (ONT) provides the closest access (1 hour drive) and is served by all the major airlines, typically with a few flight options per day to major connecting hubs.
Los Angeles Airport (LAX) is the closest major international airport (~2.5 hour drive).
Jonh Wayne Airport (SNA) is somewhat closer (2 hour drive) than LAX and similar size to ONT. Unless you have a reason to visit Orange County, ONT is likely a better option.
Local Travel:
The Arrowhead Lodge is tucked in the San Bernadino Mountains. A rental car is the best option to get from the airport to the conference. If there is potential for snow in the forecast, request the rental agency to give you chains, as they may be required. There are narrow, winding mountain roads on the way to the Lake Arrowhead. Plan to take your time and enjoy some of the scenic pull outs on Rim of the World drive. Uber/Lyft are sometimes available from ONT, but scheduling a return trip may be difficult.
