Homework

Homework will be given Monday-Thursday. Homework will not be graded, it is a chance for the children to practice what I taught in school that day. Occasionally projects will also be assigned which will be graded. In addition, students are also required to read for 30 minutes 5 times a week and log their reading nightly. This reading log must be filled out completely and will be taken for a grade in reading. In order to prepare students for middle school, the fifth grade team has a policy for missing homework. If a student has more than 5 missing assignments during a six week period, they will receive an N on the report card for homework. They will have consequences for incomplete/missing homework and agendas that are not initialed!

Please be sure to check your child's agenda- this is a rough guide for the week, but homework can change on a daily basis!!
