Introduction:

I am a VIF teacher from England, and this is my fourth year at Weddington! I have been teaching for 8 years and have trained and taught in a number of schools around England, although my last 4 years before Weddington were spent in a school in London. I started my career teaching year 4 (3rd grade) and then spent 2 years teaching year 6 (5th grade) before teaching 5th grade here in the USA. In my final year in England I gained my Masters in education, having previously achieved an undergraduate degree in Education and Psychology and a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education). I spent several summers at a summer camp in the state of Maine teaching drama which I love! I particularly enjoy working with children to put together plays, and in the last couple of years at my school in London I directed performance of 'Shrek the Musical' and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' with the children at my school. I also enjoy extreme sports and have jumped the biggest bungee jump in Europe in the Swiss Alps.
