England

This year we will be learning all about England! We will be thinking about the culture and customs of England as well as thinking about important historical events and celebrations! Our topics will include:

• A comparison between England and the USA
• Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot
• The difference between England and the UK
• St George and the Dragon
• Landmarks in England
• Food in England

Throughout the year I will do my best to immerse the children in English culture and they will also have the chance to write to their own pen pals in England. If they are lucky, there might even be some English chocolate available!
