WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- Students in grades 6-12 who are studying Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German or Spanish.
- Submissions may be from an individual, an entire class, a smaller group within a class, or a club

STUDENT ACTORS
- The vast majority (90% +) of actors in the films should be students enrolled in a foreign language class at the high school.
- Please follow public health guidelines regarding social distancing and mask use. Masks should be used in films in which students are together in a scene.
- Extras and native speakers may be used if needed as long as the speaking roles and the majority of the actors are students currently enrolled in a French, Spanish, Chinese or German class (as a second language).
- Entries may be disqualified for prizes if a teacher or a native speaker writes, speaks or acts in a significant part of the film.
- Spanish heritage speakers are encouraged to participate. See level descriptions above.
