Orientation

All new MAT candidates are required to attend the Orientation on Friday, June 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Orientation is in-person and on campus at UCI at the Multipurpose Academic & Administrative Building (MPAA) very close to the School of Education.

This is your opportunity to meet others in your cohort, speak with MAT instructors and hear about campus resources.

Wear comfortable shoes because you may be walking across campus.
Be prepared to discuss the shared readings.

Orientation for Bilingual Candidates

Candidates in the Bilingual Authorization Program (BAP) will have orientation after the general orientation.

Time: 3:30 - 5:00 PM
Location: School of Education Building, Room 2010

Reserve your MAT Polo Shirt by filling out this form by May 20th.

We will purchase extra shirts in Large for anyone who does not complete the form in time for us to place the order.

During the orientation, you will be provided with a lunch. Please complete this form by June 6th to make your select.

We will purchase extra turkey sandwiches for anyone who does not complete the form in time for us to place the order.
