Looking Back and Looking Forward

Honestly this video was painful to work on. The program that I made this with had this huge, annoying watermark that took up half the screen when I tried exporting it. I didn't want the watermark, so then I was like "Oh, let me just buy the software so that I don't have to deal with that!" Long story short, it was too expensive for me to spending on one measly video. And so then I decided to just find an online screen recorder to record my edited video (which looking back I should've just used OBS but I forgot in the heat of the moment), which didn't record the audio so then I had to export the audio from the original video and use ANOTHER editing software to put it all together again. Unfortunately, in the process my video became a lot more choppier so now I'm just sad that that's the way it ended up.
While I didn't have fun during the export portion of my process, it was fun working on the actual video itself. I had written a Google doc containing what I should talk about and what should be showing up in the video itself as I spoke. I was originally going to just use a Google presentation and record over that, but that felt more limiting for me for what I wanted to do. I will mention, though, that it's not fun hearing yourself say the same thing over and over again while editing and making sure things were lining up correctly. For you, this may have been a 5 minute video, but for me I was hearing myself talk for more than 3 hours straight like a broken record.
