A couple of days have passed since you moved in. You've gotten the chance to explore some of what Stardew Valley has to offer you. You've met some of the folk who live in town, some who are more friendly than others. You even cleaned up the farm a little bit, which is in a more disarrayed state than you initially expected when you first read that letter.
After stopping by Pierre's, you head up and spot Mayor Lewis standing in front of a shabby-looking building. Inquiring about the building, you learn that it used to be the town's Community Center. As the name suggests, the place used to be somewhere where people would gather and spend time with one another. However, it has been years since it has last been used. He tells you that Joja Corporations has been hounding him to sell it and turn it into a warehouse, though he's been hesitate to do so even if the town could use the money.
Leading you inside, Lewis continues to tell you more about the Community Center. As you listen to him, you notice a weird looking creature behind.
In alarm, you cry out to Lewis. When he turns around, however, the creature disappears. This continues for a bit, before Lewis asks if you are feeling alright. You're unsure.
He lets you know that he'll keep the center unlocked for you, and that you can decide what to do with it. As he leaves, you think to yourself that you may need to explore this place a bit more. As you look around, you find an ancient-looking scroll. However, it's unreadable to you. Stumped, you head back home.
