I created this website as an assignment for Humanities Core, a series of classes at UCI that currently focuses on the theme of Animals, People, and Power. Each quarter, I will have three website assignments that deal with the theme of animals, people, and power in relation to the works that I am studying in lectures as well as to the modern world. The purpose of this website project is to build up an online portfolio and to practice multimodal communication.
More often than not, my school assignments do not allow me to express by artistic, creative side, so I hope that through this website project, I will be able to expand my imagination and learn more about myself as I tap into this different form of self-expression. As the year progresses, I hope that I will be able to keep the website organized and cohesive, but also let myself be spontaneous and expressive. I hope to create an aesthetic, interactive environment to organize my thoughts and ideas and to develop my academic voice through online communication. Whether you came here intentionally or just happened to stumble upon this site, I hope that you get to know a little more about me :)
