The artwork for the 45 Chicano Day poster was created by Tlaloc Bustillos. The theme was “El Movimiento Continues: 45 years of Protesta, Cultura, y 40 years of Danza Azteca.” The poster honored the memory of Rodolfo “Corky” Gonzáles who died in 2005, Emiliano Zapata, activist Reies Lopez Tijerina, and educuator/journalist Ernesto Bustillos who died in 2012.
