Artist Victor Cordero created the 42nd annual Chicano Park Day poster. 2012's celebrations focuses on lowrider culture. The Amigos Car Club, established in 1977, has been a consistent Chicano Park supporter and has made efforts to destigmatize low riding. Amigos' mission is centered on supporting youth and community using their artist expression as its outlet. The poster depicts a low rider car with various historical figures riding inside, the pillars and kiosko in the background, and dancers depicted in gold.
