Why are you running?: I am running for ICS Senator because I believe that change comes when people step up and take real action. I have often seen leadership positions filled with people who don’t actually contribute towards making a real difference. Student fees are not meant to fund side hustles taken up for money. It is not about doing the bare minimum. It is about real advocacy, and I want to make that happen. ICS students need to be heard, informed, and empowered to demand what they need. They deserve to know how decisions are made, who’s making them, and why. And that’s why I am running to be the next ICS senator—to ensure that leadership serves its real purpose, making sure students receive what they rightfully deserve.
If elected, what would you like to achieve?: If elected, my priority will be transparency and increasing student engagement. As an ICS Senator, I want to take real accountability and be a representative who actually listens and acts. ICS students deserve to have a voice in decisions that affect them, and I want to make sure that voice is heard. I will actively engage with students—hearing their concerns, understanding their needs, and pushing for the changes they want to see. I also want to increase student awareness about the senate—how it works, what power it holds, and most importantly, how students can use it to demand what they need. My goal is to make the Senate a platform that truly serves ICS students and caters to their needs. I want to prove that change isn’t just possible; with the right people, it will happen.
