Based on teamwork, my group mate, Zihan, and I introduced two quotes and related them to our understanding of different writing conventions, Comparing the academic text and the non-academic text, with examples from Zihan's previous scientific project and my fable reading in comparative literature courses.
In the middle of this quarter, I chose three readings from Bunn, Rosenberg, and Melzer. Demonstrating the reading strategies, I applied Bunn's idea of following the author's choices of different words and techniques, and Rosenberg's reading method of separating an article into sections and planning the structures in writing. For preparing academic essay writing, I also mentioned several tips from Melzer's article about how to understand assignments. I focused only on three idea-related quotes and my experiences.

" I support that podcasts are academic texts from their structures, production, and the audience's reflection.
