Hi, I am Youran Wang, an international student from China who currently studying at UC Davis. It is my first year at UCD, and I am majoring in applied physics. My interest in physics started here, on this campus. I have taken several computer science courses, and I was impressed by the engineering program about 3D Designing. Currently, I am still devoted to my final goals. I planned to complete my bachelor's degree at Davis, but I need to explore more majors and careers. Besides future career considerations, I would devote more spare time to reading, watching a movie, and enjoying food. This winter quarter, I just discovered the pleasure in my journey to New York, so I probably would seek more opportunities to travel, with my curiosity and passion for this world. 

In my self-literacy portfolio, I preserved twelve literacy blog reflections, and three major projects done this quarter. In the reflection writing, I presented my literacy comprehension of each topic mentioned by the authors, and the goals I have reached from my past learning experiences. Additionally, three major projects all followed the writing processes with drafts, peer reviews, and revisions. These pages display my overall performance in UWP7. Thanks to the help from my instructors and classmates, I have gained the confidence and literacy skills required for the future.
