San Joaquin County 4-H
San Joaquin County 4-H
Youth Enrollment Process
The enrollment process includes a series of consent waivers. It is important to list a complete first name and a complete last name when it asks for the participant/youth signature and when it asks for the parent/guardian signature. Make sure the names are consistent and are in the correct spaces. Enrollments will be returned for correction if the signatures are not entered correctly.
Steps to Enroll a New 4-H Youth
A new 4-H member is one who has never enrolled in 4-H either through the ZSuite system or the former 4-H Online system. If you previously created an account in either of these systems, see the Steps to Enroll a Returning 4-H Youth.
Step 1: Review the list of clubs to identify the club and project/s you are interested in. Contact the club leader to let them know you are interested and to inquire about the time and place of the meetings and project/s.
Step 2: Create a family account and register family members online in ZSuite. Paper enrollment forms are available for those with no internet access. Contact the County 4-H Office if you need that option.
You will be required to enroll in at least one 4-H unit (club) and one project within that club. Some clubs have limited space, so please contact the Club Leader before you create your ZSuite profile.
Links to helpful enrollment guides are located on the Resources page. We recommend reviewing the ZSuite resources before entering ZSuite for the first time.
Step 3: Pay the $75 enrollment fee by card via our online payment survey (If you have an ad/spam blocker, you may need to disable it). You may also submit a check or money order to the County 4-H Office made out to UC Regents (include the names of those you are paying for in the memo or on a slip of paper).
Youth may not participate in 4-H activities until they are approved by the 4-H Office in ZSuite. Payments are non-refundable.
If you have any questions about enrolling a new youth member, please contact the County 4-H Office at 209-953-6106.
