Description
The Our Forests curriculum is divided into five modules for each grade. Within each module, you will find 1-4 lesson plans and lessons have an appendix of printed materials. We suggest that a grade's unit be taught in its entirety in order to provide the full benefit of the experience and maximize learning for students. We also encourage you to make this curriculum your own, have it fit within the classroom environment you have created, and capitalize on opportunities that might fall outside of the scope of the curriculum that will enhance their learning.
Curriculum Front Matter
The Curriculum Front Matter contains an overview of the Our Forests curriculum, background information for practitioners, and each grade scope and sequences. For a detailed and comprehensive understanding on how to implement the curriculum, we encourage you to read through the Curriculum Front Matter.
