Hello! I'm Elisha H. Schaibley, the School Counselor at Ubah Medical Academy. I graduated from Bethel University  with a Master's in Counseling Psychology. I then completed coursework at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities to obtain my school counseling license. I'm here to help students with social and personal issues, academic issues and planning, college readiness, and planning for careers after high school. Ubah Medical Academy School Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of the Ubah Medical Academy School Counseling program is to provide counseling services that strengthen and support students in multiple spheres including their personal/social growth, career development, and academic achievement.

I aim to provide support to students and families by promoting academic achievement, college and career planning, and personal/social development. Students work with me throughout their time at Ubah Medical Academy and are encouraged to schedule appointments with me as needed.

Counselor's Role

As a Professional School Counselor, I work with students on an individual basis, in small groups and even in their classrooms.  

Students may want to meet with me for the following reasons:

Students may also get referred to me in a variety of ways: by a teacher, by an administrator, by a parent, by a friend, by requesting an appointment, or by coming by my room in a crisis.



I value confidentiality and my role as a mandated reporter which means just about everything a student talks with me about is confidential and stays between them and I with the following exceptions:
