ADMISSIONS – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

To apply:

1. Visit the UB website and access the Online Admission Portal.

2. Fill out the Online Application Form completely.

3. Submit the form and obtain your Application ID Number.

4. Schedule and take the University of Batangas Admission Test (UBAT).

5. Proceed with the submission of requirements and enrollment once the UBAT is completed.

Students who have completed Grade 6 (for Grade 7 applicants).

The UBAT is the official admission test required for applicants before proceeding with enrollment.

The UBAT fee is ₱250.00 and is non-refundable.

Payment can be made in cash, via credit card or GCash, but only available at the Cash Management Office or online thru the following:

UBAT examinations are conducted only on weekdays and are not scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays.

The testing schedule is as follows:

UBBC - Friday 8:30 AM – Morning Session and 1:30 PM – Afternoon Session

UBLC - Wednesday and Friday - 8:30 AM – Morning Session and 1:30 PM – Afternoon Session
Tuesday and Thursday - 8:30 AM – Morning Session only

Please note that examinations are not conducted during holidays or on dates that coincide with university activities.

Applicants are encouraged to check the available schedules through the official UBAT application QR code or contact the Admissions Office to confirm the exact date and time of their examination.

Yes, applicants may request to reschedule their UBAT appointment.

Applicants are advised to submit their rescheduling request as early as possible to secure a preferred testing date.

You may proceed with enrollment after passing the University of Batangas Admission Test (UBAT) and submitting the required admission documents to the Admissions and Scholarships Office. Once your requirements have been verified and approved, you will be guided through the enrollment process, including subject advising, assessment of fees, and payment.

Yes, Transferees must submit their Transcript of Records (TOR) or copy of grades from their previous school to the Admissions Office for department evaluation. 

Tuition and school fees for may vary depending on the grade level and other miscellaneous fees. For the most accurate and updated schedule of fees, parents and applicants are encouraged to contact or visit the Admissions Office.

Yes. Students at the University of Batangas may pay their tuition and other school fees either in full or through an installment payment scheme. For installment payments, you need to pay an initial down payment upon enrollment, and the remaining balance is divided into monthly installments. For the exact payment scheme and installment schedule, applicants are encouraged to inquire directly with the Cash Management Office or Admissions Office of the campus where they plan to enroll.

Yes. The Educational Service Contracting (ESC) program is available for Junior High School.

Grade 7 ESC Application: Applications open during the first month of classes. The ESC subsidy amounts to ₱9,000. ESC transferees must submit their ESC Certificate from their previous school.

Students from the public school system entering Grade 7 and Grade 11 are automatically qualified for the ESC Program and do not need to apply.

No. Textbooks or eBooks, and other learning materials are not included in the tuition fee and must be purchased separately.

Students will receive guidance on which books to buy, where to purchase them, and the schedule for availability during the Tatak Brahmans Orientation or the first month of classes.

No. The school uniform is not included in the tuition fee and must be purchased separately.

Information on where to buy the uniform, the schedule for availability, and uniform guidelines will be provided during the Tatak Brahmans Orientation or at the start of the school year.

For incoming Grade 7 students who belong to the Top 3 of their graduating batch:

• Top 1 – 100% tuition discount

• Top 2 – 50% tuition discount

• Top 3 – 25% tuition discount

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP - Grant will be based on the performance of the student athlete.

Requirements:

• Must meet the required residency in the University

• Must have no failing grade/s

•  Must undergo physical examination

CULTURAL SCHOLARSHIP - Grant will be based on the performance of the student.

Requirements:

• Scholar will be evaluated by the trainor

• Must have no failing grade/s

Benefits

• College: 10% Tuition fee discount per semester

• Elementary & High School: 15% tuition fee discount annually

Class size is generally limited to a maximum of 35 students to ensure effective monitoring and meaningful student participation. Final class size may vary depending on total enrollment. 

Classes usually begin at 8:00 AM and may end around 3:30 PM, depending on the student’s daily schedule.

Face-to-face classes are conducted from Monday to Thursday, while Friday is designated as LMS Day, during which students complete online or learning management system (LMS) activities.
