How do I apply to the University of Batangas?
Graduate School Application Procedure
Step 1: Submit a Letter of Intent
Send a Letter of Intent together with scanned copies of the following requirements to graduate_studies@ub.edu.ph for evaluation.
Please use the subject format:
Application for [Program] – Last Name, First Name M.I.
Example: Application for Master of Arts in Psychology – Dela Cruz, Juan P.
Required Documents:
Passport-size photo with nametag
Transcript of Records (TOR)
Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
Step 2: Wait for the Evaluation Result
You will receive a confirmation email within three (3) working days informing you whether your application has been accepted.
Step 3: Complete the Online Admission Form
If accepted, proceed to fill out the Online Admission Form, which will guide you through the enrollment process.
Who are qualified to enroll?
Applicants who have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university are qualified to apply for admission to the Graduate School of the University of Batangas.
The following may apply:
College graduates who wish to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral degree
Professionals seeking to advance their knowledge and career through graduate studies
Transferees from other graduate schools, subject to evaluation of their academic records
Applicants must submit the required admission documents and comply with the Graduate School admission procedures before enrollment.
What are the admission requirements?
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
Passport size photo with nametag
Transcript of Records
Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
How much is the tuition and miscellaneous fees?
Tuition and other fees vary depending on the program or course selected. Applicants are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office or visit the campus for the latest schedule of fees for their chosen program.
Are installment payment options available?
Yes. Students at the University of Batangas may pay their tuition and other school fees either in full or through an installment payment scheme. For installment payments, you need to pay an initial down payment upon enrollment, and the remaining balance is divided into monthly installments. For the exact payment scheme and installment schedule, applicants are encouraged to inquire directly with the Cash Management Office or Admissions Office of the campus where they plan to enroll.

What types of scholarships does the university offer?
CHED SIKAP SCHOLARSHIP - The program offers scholarships to Higher Education Institution (HEI) teaching and non-teaching personnel who are seeking advanced studies in identified universities and colleges in the Philippines.

SHEI Endorsement Form
Application Form
Certificate of Employment with Compensation
Approved Study Leave or Permit Issued by the SHEI represented by its Governing Board or its equivalent and duly endorsed by the Faculty and Staff Development Committee or its equivalent for full -time study
Certificate of clearance from the previous grants , proofs of training attended, published works or research presented , if applicable
NBI Clearance
Medical Certificate of physical and mental fitness to undertake and complete the program, as certified by a licensed physician
Proof of admission to the DHEI
Transcript of REcords (for every undergraduate and graduate/post graduate degree attained
Return Service Agreement and Draft Re-entry Action Plan
Copy of publication in the past 5 years , if any
Certificate of Award, if applicable

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Checking of the eligibility of the requirements
Completion of documentary requirements
Submission of the Application package to SHEI
Endorsement of application packages to concerned CHEDRO
Generation of Application Number after endorsement of SHEI
PNP DISCOUNT. 25% tuition fee discount granted to bona fide Philippine National Police members enrolled in either undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
Eligibility:
Bona fide college, graduate school and law students
Documentary Requirement:
Certificate indicating active membership in PNP
Guidelines/Procedures: The certificate must be presented in the Accounting office
What will be the mode of learning?
Graduate School utilizes flexible hybrid learning (combination of traditional and digital modes). Total of 6 synchronous meetings.
