I am a Professor in the Division of Anatomy. I teach gross and neuroanatomy to the years 1-2 medical and dental students through the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and a 4th year honours undergraduate Neuroanatomy (ANAT401/NEURO375).
In addition to teaching, I have an active research laboratory. I have Postdoctoral training in the lab of Dr. Douglas Zochodne (current at the University of Alberta) investigating nerve regeneration.
My PhD was at the University of Calgary in the laboratory of Dr. Sarah McFarlane in which I studied developmental axon guidance.Â
My MSc was at the University of Saskatchewan with Dr. David Schreyer investigating nerve regeneration.
