The purpose of the NURS 425 fieldwork is to provide students with effective mentorship to be successful leaders as they move into careers as Registered Nurses. Students come to this fieldwork experience after completing a series of leadership courses. Students have covered a broad range of concepts including leadership and management styles, governance and organizational structures, organizational and system change, health informatics, interprofessional health services delivery, and ethics.

Important Note: As this is not a clinical placement, students must not perform any restricted activities or direct patient care during this leadership fieldwork experience.
