6. EXCHANGES & ATTENDANCE AT OTHER LAW SCHOOLS

For information on exchange programs available to Law students, please see the appropriate section of the Faculty website, talk to the Student Recruiter (law.recruiter@ualberta.ca) in LC128B, and/or visit the Education Abroad Program, 142 Telus Centre, 87 Ave & 111 St, University of Alberta [www.goabroad.ualberta.ca].

You may also attend other law schools, on a visiting basis (for one or two terms), on a letter of permission issued by the Vice Dean. Please consult the Vice Dean’s office if you have questions in this respect.

IMPORTANT: 3L WINTER TERM GRADUATION INFORMATION

3L students who choose to do a Winter term exchange, please be aware that this will delay your graduation to November. This occurs because we will not receive your transcripts in time to process for the June convocation deadlines.  Once your transcripts have been received, we can issue a letter for the Law Society confirming completion of graduation requirements, which will allow you to begin articles.
