1. REGISTRATION ELIGIBILITY
Incoming 3L Bear Tracks registration: 12 noon Monday, March 18, 2024
Incoming 2L Bear Tracks registration: 7am Tuesday, March 26, 2024
INCOMING 2L REGISTRATION For current 1L students, completion of 32 credits including the current Winter term will allow you to be promoted to 2L and register on the 2L date indicated in Bear Tracks. *
INCOMING 3L REGISTRATIONFor current 2L students, completion of 60 credits including the current Winter term will allow you to be promoted to 3L and register on the 3L date indicated in Bear Tracks. If you hold less than 60 credits, you are still considered a 2L and will receive the 2L registration date with no exceptions. *
CURRENT 3L STUDENTSFor current 3L students, completion of 92 credits will block your registration for next year as you technically have completed the required amount of credits. If you carry less than 92, you should be eligible to register as a 3L on the specified date.
STUDENTS ON EXCHANGEIf you are on exchange, please ensure you check your registration date in Bear Tracks, as your transfer credit will not have been updated by the time registration opens and you will not be in the correct enrollment date for your program.
ACADEMIC STANDINGLastly, if you fail to maintain a 2.0 in any academic year, your course enrollment will be dropped, your eligibility to enroll will be blocked, your academic standing will be updated on your transcript and you will be invited to a student appeals meeting regarding your academic standing.
MUST CLEAR REGISTRATION HOLDSIMPORTANT: Anyone with outstanding University of Alberta fines (i.e. library, parking, fees, etc.) cannot access the online registration system until these fines/fees are paid. Be sure that you clear amounts outstanding well before commencing registration.
