The Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta is located on Treaty Six territory and the Métis Homeland in the City of Camrose, 90 kilometres southeast of Edmonton, 10 kilometres north of the historic Métis Laboucane Settlement, and 60 kilometres northeast of the reserve-based community of Maskwacîs.
The Campus is the traditional land of the Maskwacis Nêhiyawak, Niitsitapi, Nakoda, and Tsuut'ina Nations, the Métis, and other Indigenous peoples.
Located in the heart of the city, the Augustana Campus is within easy walking distance of restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, a river valley, nature walks, and recreation facilities.
For attendees who are travelling by air (YEG), there is a shuttle service through Horizon Charters, but we recommend connecting with other attendees to share a rental car for the duration of the conference.
