Call for Abstracts - Due February 15, 2026
For this conference, we accept individual presentation and poster proposals on themes related to the social context of resource management (including agriculture, forestry, energy, protected areas), from social science disciplines. We welcome proposals from practitioners, policy makers, scholars and students who seek to advance research, policy, and practice on global resource management issues.
More specifically, we welcome proposal on the theme "Tailoring Resource Solutions to Diverse Social-Ecological Contexts."
To encourage maximum dialogue, networking and future research collaboration, individual presentations will be 10 minutes in length, and clustered into groups of five presenters, followed by 40 minutes of facilitated discussion. Poster presentations are scheduled for a 2-hour lunch period to facilitate maximum engagement. Finally, based on abstracts and answers to questions in the google form, we will develop panel and fishbowl dialogue sessions on substantial topics of interest to attendees. See the program page for more details.
The proposal submission form will remain open until the deadline noted above.
