Hope Studies Central is the only research unit in the world devoted to the study of hope in human living. Formerly known as the Hope Foundation of Alberta, the previous works have been transitioned to an exclusive research focus through the research direction of Dr. Denise Larsen and the University of Alberta. For several years, Hope Studies Central has conducted numerous studies on hope and how it can be used in practice within several disciplines, including counselling psychology, health sciences, teaching and education.
