The Wildlife Society has chosen Edmonton for their 32nd Annual Conference this year. And I will be giving a talk! Come by Hall D, on the 07th of October, if you wish to learn more about anthropogenic challenges facing rodent pollinators and seed dispersers.
Congratulations to Regina Tenorio Sánchez for presenting at the ISVS Research Internship Symposium & Certificate Ceremony on July 24th at North Campus. Regina gave a 3MT highlighting the tree swallow research she conducted in our lab in the spring-summer.
I was so excited to give a Lunch & Learn talk this March and share some cool facts about parasites. And how they are not all bad. The talk title was: "My best frenemy? Why we may need to learn to love parasites". This talk is also available as a webinar.
It was great to attend the Alberta Chapter of the Wildlife Society (ACTWS) and the Canadian Section of Wildlife Society (CSTWS) Joint Conference in Jasper (AB), in March. Our lab met so many wonderful people. It was also incredibly exciting for Jinxuan and Lucille, as they presented at their very first academic conference. Congratulations to both for the amazing work!
