Instructions

1. Use those time management skills to fit a resume and cover letter review, mock job interview or career advising appointment with your Work Experience Coordinator into your schedule. Start early so you are ready to apply for that amazing job when you see it!

2. Take one cup of positivity and one cup of determination and mix them into your job search. Apply to as many postings as possible (that interest you, of course!) and ensure that your excitement and enthusiasm come through in each one. Don’t give up…and reach out to your Work Experience Coordinator if you are not receiving responses to your applications! 

3. Add a generous helping of writing skills into your mixture to communicate the value of your experiences to employers. Let your enthusiasm and excitement for each position come through in your writing style, too. Reach out to Writing Services if you find it tough to craft that perfect sentence - they can help you add some professional sprinkles to enhance the overall look of your documents. 

4. Combine all the ingredients together and celebrate all of your hard work! You have just followed the recipe for a successful work search.
