Career Conversations with the U of A Career Centre 

Our guest contributor Kim (she/her) is a third year Bachelor of Fine Arts student. She works as a Career Peer Educator at the Career Centre to provide students with cover letter and resume reviews, career advising, mock interviews, and more. 

Career Conversations is a program that allows students to ask working professions career-related questions about specific careers or occupations and get information about different career paths. In collaboration with Alumni Relations, the U of A Career Centre connects current students and alumni with hosts in their areas of interest and academic focuses. Each participant can then select a host they want to conduct an hour-long, virtual informational interview with. This is a great opportunity to learn about career options, gain industry knowledge, and make connections!
