The Indigenous Health Committee (IHC) respects and upholds Indigenous governance principles and honours shared governance of the Committee and its work.

The Indigenous Component and the Indigenous Health Committee has two Co-Chairs, Dr. Wayne Clark (U of A) and Dr. Wanda Phillips-Beck (First Nations Health & Social Secretariat). Drs. Phillips-Beck and Clark are supported by the shared leadership of Dr. Melanie Morris who leads the Metis component. Together they support and guide the IHC as it advances the work of Clinical Trial Research and Indigenous Peoples and Communities.
