Animal Health Program Representative
I want to hold this position because I know how overwhelming it can be to hear many different opinions and make important decisions during your undergraduate career. I want to help guide students in the program and make sure they feel supported both academically and personally. One of my goals during my term would be to create better communication between students and the faculty so concerns and feedback are heard. I also want to promote opportunities within FAUnA so more students are aware of the resources and events available to them.
I would love to improve communication between more student groups, specifically between FAUnA and other ALES groups and relevant groups run by the faculty of science. Specifically, I think OBS, the botany club, should have more communication with ALES students, and I am sure there are other clubs I am not even aware of who are in a similar situation. I want to ensure that ALES students are aware of all the opportunities from which they may benefit. I would love to have this position to be able to have a positive impact on this faculty and make changes towards a more well-connected, community.
Hi, I’m Vandana, and I’m excited to run as your Program Representative for Human Ecology. I’m passionate about Human Ecology because it explores how people, communities, and the environment interact—knowledge that I believe is essential for creating positive change. This program has shaped how I think critically and approach real-world problems, and I want to help ensure all students have the support and opportunities to thrive here. If elected, I will work to make sure your voices are heard, your ideas are shared, and your concerns are communicated effectively to the association. I’m committed to being approachable, responsive, and an advocate for all students in Human Ecology, because everyone's voice matters.
Hello, my name is Maya Gallus and I'll be running for program representative for Agriculture. I will be going into my final year and throughout my university career I've been able to connect and get to know the ALES community, with currently being VP External for FAUnA and VP Academic for the Agriculture Club. I hope to advocate for the Agriculture major and be a contributive member of FAUnA team.
