Whether speaking as a member of a panel or in small group or one-on-one settings, Dr. Sims enjoys helping colleagues with their academic book proposals! From secret 1-page outlines that haven't been shared with anyone to complete 10-page proposals that unfortunately have been turned down by an Editor, she provides valuable insight into this unique genre of writing.
In this workshop, Dr. Sims walks students (and interested faculty!) through how to identify the competing demands of each new semester. Sharing concrete time-management strategies that she developed as a two-sport Division I student-athlete who was both an MVP and summa cum laude graduate, she explains how to be successful in the classroom & beyond.
