What options are available for students doing Take 5?
Fifth year students (Take 5) are not eligible for campus housing. The main exception for this rule is students who are RA’s. If you are an RA in your 5th year you may live in housing in that role.

What options are there for off-campus housing?
As a junior and a senior, students are no longer required to have on-campus housing. There are many resources available on the university campus websites to find off-campus housing in the surrounding area (roc rooms, innovation square (kind of), etc).
How Do Students Generally Feel About the Dorms?
One important bit of context is that in the spring of 2023, there was a housing protest. Among other things, students were upset about raising prices paired with bad conditions.
In a student survey, there was a range of opinions. There were no 1-star ratings but also only one person rated 5 stars. There were many complaints and issues leading to 2-4 star ratings from most students.
There is an issue of lack of housing for students with rising class sizes.
