The low-fidelity prototype is still a work in progress
Information about our low-fidelity prototype will be added before Tuesday 4/9
Prototyping
Once we have a design concept, we plan to start the prototyping process by making a paper prototype. This isn’t as fleshed out as a wireframe but it is good because it will let us make change to our prototype on the fly given feedback requested at the end of the demo. Questions asked after the paper prototype demo will be the following
After at least 5 people have tested the paper prototype we move on to the wire frame prototype where hopefully at this point we now have a good idea of where buttons, fields and such need to go from the research conducted with the paper prototype. This won’t be as fleshed out as the final working prototype but the difference between the paper prototype with being able to navigate the wireframe on a computer is a big difference. It will enable us to get a sense of scale for page elements that is not possible to get while paper prototyping. Questions asked after the wire frame demo will be the following
Our final prototype iteration will be the working website. Users will test themselves for Parkinson's and then will be presented with a survey after the fact. As the final prototype will have much more user testing than the wireframe or the paper prototype will, a survey is appropriate for easy data and feedback gathering.
