Description

During the creation of this artifact, I found that YouTube is a much more valuable resource than I had once perceived. The ability to collaborate, share and create makes YouTube invaluable within a classroom. In today's society, students grow up in a digital world, and removing this connectivity to teach lessons seems like moving backwards. With the use of YouTube, we can continue to move forward with technology and teaching, and give our students an experience that engages them, pushes them, and enlightens them in ways that we may not have been able to do in generations past. The accessibility of knowledge for our students is something we should use to our advantage, so that each student can find their way without the hardships of the past.

I also found that, not only is YouTube a fantastic resource, but it is easily integrated into a classroom setting. Instead of watching an instructor search for video after video, a playlist can be created to easily jump from one topic to the other. In addition to this, departments can create collaborative lists to ensure all classes are on the same track.
