I design for environments where training has to work under real constraints — compliance, scale, and operational variability.
Each project shows the problem, constraints, design decisions, and what changed as a result.
I design for environments where performance breaks down or workflows don’t scale.
My work focuses on:
diagnosing where performance actually breaks and why,
making design decisions inside real constraints, and
building learning and performance tools that hold up in real workflows.
Each project shows the problem, the constraints, the decisions, and what changed because of them.
I start by asking myself: What needs to change for people to perform better on the job?
From there, I analyze the workflow, the tools, and the environment before assuming training is the solution.
I work through front-end analysis, stakeholder alignment, and iterative design under constraint to ensure solutions reflect real — not ideal — conditions.
My goal is to create learning and performance systems that are usable on day one and sustainable after rollout.
These projects show how I analyze performance problems, make design decisions under real constraints, and build learning solutions that hold up in practice. Each sample includes the problem, the constraints, the tradeoffs, and the outcomes — not just the deliverable.
Performance-driven onboarding program design for a healthcare organization hiring 200+ employees annually across multiple sites. Includes performance analysis, learning architecture, and rollout strategy.
Interactive Rise 360 microlearning module designed to help hiring committees recognize legally risky questions and make more consistent interview decisions.
Instructional design project created with nonprofit client Idaho Food Bank to help volunteers and staff correctly interpret food expiration labels during high-volume sorting operations.
