I design learning experiences and performance support that hold up in real environments — where compliance, speed, and usability all matter. My work spans scenario-based eLearning, performance support tools, and learning systems design for teams working inside operational constraints. If it isn’t clear, usable, and aligned with how work actually happens, it isn’t finished.
Practice and supports that reflect real operating conditions.
Make the right action the easy action.
Systems that hold up in audits and daily operations.
I work best in partnership with the people doing the job. I ask direct questions, prototype quickly, and treat early drafts as thinking tools. If it doesn’t work on the floor, we adjust. If it works, it stays.
Partnership-first: operators, SMEs, and leaders in the loop early
Fast cycles: visible drafts, tight feedback loops, quick iterations
Direct and low-ego: candid calls, shared ownership, direct feedback
Tool-agnostic, outcome-loyal: If it reduces errors and makes the right action easier, it stays.
Meet people where they are: I design inside real constraints: time, access, language, tech, and business requirements.
Simple wins, adoption matters: Fewer steps, clearer cues, and supports people can use mid-shift matter more than “pretty.”
Common Environments: LMS platforms, Articulate 360, and enterprise workflow systems (SAP/JDA/WMS)
I started in operations, where training only matters if it works on the floor. Watching compliance-only learning fail in real environments pushed me toward performance-first design. My operations background isn't separate from my design work — it's the lens. I design for what happens on Monday morning — and build to prevent what breaks down. Whether I'm working with a warehouse floor, a sales team, or an L&D function, I'm energized by environments where learning, operations, and real-world constraints intersect.

Operations and process-improvement background shaping performance-focused learning design
M.S. in Organizational Performance & Workplace Learning (in progress), BSU
My work spans the full design cycle:
Scenario-based learning and performance support (eLearning, job aids, microlearning)
Performance analysis and consulting
Learning systems design and governance
SME partnership and stakeholder alignment
Evaluation and iteration
Currently based in Central CA, most of my off-hours are spent at home with my animals or working on creative fiber and craft projects that reward precision and repetition. I gravitate toward crochet and embroidery because they reward patience, iteration, and attention to small details that add up over time.
I balance that with movement through gaming, Krav Maga, hiking, and travel because I like environments that demand attention and adaptability. That same mindset carries into how I design learning systems: observe how work actually happens, reduce friction, and iterate until it holds up in real conditions.
