JANEAL GROSINGER - EDTECH 554
In this lesson, I am making a comparison between 20th century teachers and what I would like to see 21st century teachers become. I have identified similarities and difference; compared tools, techniques/methods, and strategies; and compared the attributes of students.
In the video below, I have compared the past to what I hope the future will become, along with several reasons for my recommendations.

This artifact was fun to learn. I had never used Powtoon before, so it was a great learning experience. I liked how easy the program was to learn and edit. Recording is always difficult for me and it usually takes several tries to get it correct. This program made those edits very easy. I enjoyed doing the research needed for this project and the comparison to how class was taught in the 20th century versus now. I feel that the pandemic has pushed many teachers into changing the way they teach class, hopefully for the better. The project was very helpful in helping me to make decisions on how I want to move my career forward in the field of professional development and how technology plays a part in lesson planning.
